Hey there! Welcome (or welcome back) to my blog 🙂
I recently got a notification from WordPress telling me I made my blog one year ago! It’s crazy for me to imagine that this blog is already 1 year old. I just wanted to thank whoever currently follows/reads/likes my blog and my blog posts. I’m really glad that you’re around and enjoy some of my thoughts 🙂
If you want to go back and read my very first blog post (oh, the nostalgia), here it is!
Anyway, a lot has happened this year and I’ve had so many amazing experiences. I’ve traveled to a lot of different places this year, for some of which I haven’t written blog posts yet, including Israel, Kazakhstan, Toronto, New Hampshire… I’m so grateful I get to travel so often. I think it’s really important to travel and visit new places whenever you have the opportunity; it really broadens your horizons (quite literally) and allows you to look at the world in a different way than you did before. Seeing how different life is around the world really gives you a different perspective on life (sounds pretty cheesy but hey, it’s really 100% true, I swear)

In addition, it appears that I start school again on Wednesday! This will be my last “first day of school”. This is so insane. When did I become old??? I find myself being faced with new challenges and options, and I occasionally find myself contemplating my future a lot more often 🙂 Freshmen, enjoy high school while you can. It doesn’t last forever.
One of my close friends (Z, who I went to Mexico with almost a year ago!) is moving into her dorm on Friday while my other close friend (let’s call her M) has already moved in. I can’t wait to hear all about their experiences at college so I’m expecting a lot of Face Time calls from them.
Well, that’s all for now. Thanks again for joining me on my blog’s birthday! Good luck with your studies this year, whatever you’re doing. If you’re not going back to school, good luck with all your plans 🙂
Meanwhile, I’m just trying to mentally prepare myself for senior year.
Hope it’s a good one.
Anna xx
