Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog 🙂

Finals are almost done! 

Well, when this goes up, I’ll probably be done with finals already but I’m writing this on Tuesday, June 7th and my last final is tomorrow. I’m currently listening to Ed Sheeran and studying for my precalculus final, the last final of 11th grade!

Okay, how am I almost in my last year of high school..? Honestly, what the heck happened to the time? I have one more year to go until I go to college, and yet I have NO idea where I want to apply! Please tell me if you’re in the same boat or if you don’t know what you want to do after school ends either. Let’s talk about this.

Anyway, I have already received the summer work for two of my classes next year (AP psychology and AP English). For AP psych, I need to read a book and write a little about it. I’ve actually already started my book, and it’s super interesting. It’s called Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can’t Stop Talking by Susan Cain. I would highly recommend this to you if you’re interested in psychology or the different personalities people can have. It basically describes why being an introvert is good, despite the fact that extroversion seems to be a favorable characteristic in many aspects of life today.

For AP English, I need to choose a book from a list of three, answer some questions about it, and also read certain chapters of a book called How to Read Literature Like a Professor. The book I’ve chosen is called All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr and I’ve already read it before (I’m sneaky hehehe) but it’s a super good book and I would definitely recommend it to you if you like historical fiction. It takes place during WWII and it’s written from the perspective of multiple characters and it’s one of those books that draws you in. Read it and see what happens 🙂

This turned into a bit of a book talk, but that’s okay!

Now that school is basically over, I’ll try to blog a lot more often than I’ve been doing recently. I’ll probably have more stories and things to tell you so stick around! We’ll have fun.
