School and More Traveling

Oh my, okay, hi.

Thanks for returning, or welcome if you’re just popping in for the first time 🙂

It’s Anna (see what I did there?) again and wow I think I see cobwebs clouding my blog at the moment because I haven’t been on in like, a month.

A good deal of collegey, schooley-type stuff has been happening lately, so let me compile a list:

  1. I took the SATs on Wednesday of last week and oh goodness… It was interesting. It was okay but not okay at the same time, if that’s possible. The whole thing was scheduled to be completed in 4 hours, with two 10 minute breaks and a 5 minute break to give our brains some time to recuperate. The reading and writing sections weren’t too bad, neither was one of the math sections. Overall, hopefully I did okay but I will have to wait until May to find out for sure. I will keep you posted *cries*
  2. I am debating whether or not to visit Boston University in April; this one program allows you to stay at the dorms for 3 days. You get to shadow a student that is taking a class from a subject that you are interested in majoring in, along with some other cool things like tours of the campus. Also, since BU has a synchronized skating team, I would get to skate with them and see what synchro is like (which I have never done before). My close friend G would also be going so we would be going through all this together which wold be so so cool (check out my trip to New York with G and Z here!). However, I would be missing two days of school, which is not really ideal for me. I’m still on the fence about whether I want to go or not and I have no idea how to decide!
  3. I am also driving up to Toronto later this month to visit the University of Toronto! I am super excited for this because I haven’t set foot in Canada since I moved to the United States roughly 4 years ago. While I am really looking forward to touring campus, I am also equally (if not more) excited to go to Tim Hortons again! You don’t understand. I am so. Excited. For Tim Hortons.

In addition, I am also going to be going to Israel for a week during my April break! My mom and I are going together to visit some family that live there and one of the things I am most looking forward to doing is swimming in the Dead Sea. This is actually on my bucket list so I will be crossing that off quite soon. The saline content in there is so high you can literally float in the water and just lay there, as you’ve probably heard, which I find absolutely fascinating. I will be taking lots of pictures and I’ll compile a blog post of my experiences when I get back 🙂

Wow. This is a lot of excitement. I don’t think I’m ready for it.

Anna xx
