Hey everyone! I’m really glad I’m getting a chance to blog today, finally… I hope you’re all well and I feel bad that I’ve been gone and haven’t been reading or commenting on other blogs, hopefully I can do more of that in the near future.

I woke up this morning to so much snow. Last night I heard we were supposed to get rain which “might turn into snow later in the night”, but I was in no way expecting school to be cancelled. It was a really nice discovery; I went to bed quite late last night and felt like a zombie this morning. Ironically, I didn’t end up falling back asleep. Instead, I played some piano and stepped outside to take a couple pictures of the beautiful snow. Really hope my camera will not have water damage…

Also, ironically, the past two days have been oddly warm.

Like, almost too warm…

I have been wearing a tank top with a cardigan for the past couple days because it honestly felt like spring had come already (even though it’s only February).

It honestly feels like winter has come a little late, seeing as we got barely any snow in the past couple months, and I’m a little disappointed because I was so ready to start wearing spring things. I guess not..? Welcome to New England, where it’s warm one day but there’s a snow storm the next!

In other news, I finally got my learner’s permit the other day and I drove on the road for the first time yesterday (it was absolutely terrifying)! Both of our cars are not automatic but manual, which is unusual here in America. It’s really hard to coordinate your feet and hands to switch gears and press the clutch and the gas and then the brake…oh my. It’s really difficult but I managed not to run over anything yesterday! I’m also a little bummed that it’s now snowing so I won’t be able to do a lot of driving. I can’t really do anything about the weather though, so hopefully it all melts soon and the roads get cleared up!
