Today’s blog post will be just a random little thing with really no point to it. I’m sure it’s been done before but it looks like fun so I thought I’d give it a go… Without further ado, I present to you 50 things about me that nobody asks about but I will tell you anyway. Here we go:

1. I have dirty blonde hair
2. My favorite color is pastel blue
3. Or any pastel color, really
4. I have numerous “best” friends
5. Most of them I have met through the rink
6. I don’t have cable at my house; we only use Netflix
7. I love rain. A lot. Like too much
8. My favorite books include the Harry Potter series and the Song of Ice and Fire series
9. My fave Harry Potter book is the Order of the Phoenix
10. My favorite Song of Ice and Fire book is a Storm of Swords
11. My older (half) brother was born on the same day of the same month as me, even though we have a very large age difference between us
12. I don’t have a favorite season; I love each season for a different reason (I should be a poet, that rhymed really nicely)
13. My favorite class has been biology and my least favorite has been geometry (I despised that class; sorry to anyone who likes dealing with shapes)
14. My all time favorite TV shows are Grey’s Anatomy, Game of Thrones, and the Walking Dead. People don’t usually expect me to be into the last two, though..
15. I am a Youtube fangirl (yes yes, it’s true)
16. I love burning candles
17. I want to be a pediatric surgeon when I’m older
18. I am 5’6” and a little bit (if you care)
19. I was in London one time for a flight layover when I was going to visit Kazakhstan and ever since then I’ve wanted to go back SO BAD
20. I also want to go to university around London or elsewhere in England
21. I have a very, very bad phobia of the dark
22. Because of this, I sleep with a little night light (don’t judge me!)
23. I am nearsighted
24. I had another blog before but deleted it because I found I didn’t really know what to write about, so I’m trying again with this one
25. I go through packs of gum within a span of about 3 days or so
26. I love going to Staples and I’m obsessed with stationery
27. I love keeping journals!
28. To fill them up, I save every little thing that reminds me of something (like receipts, movie tickets, scraps of paper, business cards, etc)
29. I love pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks (I am not afraid to admit it)
30. I am absolutely terrible at doing my eyeliner; I’ve tried but it usually makes me look like a raccoon, unfortunately, so I just wear mascara on my eyes
31. I went to a Renaissance fair recently and I loved every second of it; I am definitely coming back next year, this time in costume 🙂
32. I feel very at ease at the beach and I love swimming
33. I despise brie and blue cheese. Do not come near me with cheese that has mold in it!
34. I actually used to like brie cheese but at some point I just started hating it. Not sure why
35. I had no idea what to call my blog so as you can see I was very creative with my url (1910 stands for my birthday)
36. I have nostalgic feelings very often, usually about Kazakhstan and Canada, or just in general about the past
37. I am a very sensitive person. The smallest things can make me cry, which isn’t that great sometimes
38. I love floral patterns and prints
39. Tumblr is my favorite social network
40. I have a bamboo plant in my room. It is 3 years old and its name is Boo (I know, I know, I’m so creative)
41. I feel like I was born in the wrong time sometimes and that I belong in the Renaissance era
42. My cat is 8 years old. Her name is Murka (which roughly means “one who purrs” in Russian)
43. I love tea. I could probably live off of it if it had more nutritional value
44. My favorite foods are soups (especially French onion, yummm), salads, and chicken
45. I love love love Ed Sheeran
46. I started playing the piano when I was 5 and since then I’ve stopped taking lessons but I still play for enjoyment
47. Chopin and Debussy are my absolute favorite composers!
48. Claire de Lune is one of my favorite piano pieces ever
49. I’m a high school student
50. I am fluent in Russian and English, and I study Spanish at school
