Hello 🙂

If you’re reading this you have probably stumbled upon my blog by accident so welcome. My name is Anna and I run this little blog. I am literally just starting out so sorry about any foolish mistakes or anything, this is still a work in progress and I’m still figuring things out. I thought the first post should serve as a little introduction to this blog and let you know a little about me.

Basically, I was born on October 19th (so I’m a libra, for all you zodiac fans) in the town of Almaty, Kazakhstan. If you have no clue where Kazakhstan is, that is completely okay because trust me, not a lot of people I have met do. Go look it up, there is no shame. A huge part of my life is and has been figure skating. I started skating a few days before my 4th birthday and I only just started realizing what an impact it has had on my life. I have also moved all over the place. I left Kazakhstan when I was 6, moving to Canada and living there in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia and a few years ago I moved to the United States. I currently live in the United States with my mom, my dad, and my cat.

I’m kind of a homebody and I also sometimes feel like I was born in the wrong time. I love to read (historical fiction especially), I have an obsession with tea, I love all things vintage and old (such as vintage looking floral print stuff, old and battered books, anything that has aged a little basically). I also play the piano, I love rain a little too much, I doodle and paint occasionally, and as much as I love spending time outside I could do without the bugs to be honest. Hopefully you will get to know me better as time goes on 🙂

Now a little about this blog of mine. I realize it’s not much yet, but hopefully in time it’ll turn into something great. Since I’m a teenager, I figured it would be nice to set up a place on the internet where I can share experiences from my adolescent point of view, anything from boys to school to handling certain situations. Not forgetting about sharing my own embarrassing stories because trust me, there are too many of those. Maybe a few tips on studying, balancing sports, hobbies, and school, and just being a teenager in general. If there is something interesting that I think is worth writing about I’ll post it, too, things like product reviews if I like something, DIYs, helpful websites, and random stories that will hopefully be at least mildly entertaining. A little of everything. Hopefully there will be a good balance of comedy and advice and I can help someone out with tackling the huge task of surviving the teenage years.

Because we all know the struggle of balancing school, your sanity, and having a social life. I suppose that’s it for this first post! As for when I will post, I don’t have a posting schedule or anything because of school and I’m usually quite busy so it really depends on when I’m free, for now at least. Hopefully I will have more concrete times and dates eventually. Thanks for reading, I hope you’ll stick around 🙂
